I was stopped driving and to take a drug test. I agreed and was cooperative and told them I had a prescription for adderal. when the test (urine) came back (right away) at the hospital where they brought me to take it, it was postive for both the amphedamine and methamphedamine. I was arrested and am now fighting this in court. I have not touched any illegal drugs nor had I at the time. could the adderal have showed up for both?

Adderall is an amphetamine so, yes, it would cause a positive in a drug test. If you have a prescription, you should have your doctor provide you with documentation to bring to court with you.
