I am 48 pre-menopausal and never diagnosed, however my son has a diagnosis’s (he's 26 and in rebellion of treatment with substance abuse... now there's a dual diagnosis’s of schizoid-affect disorder. It was ten years ago that I became concern about ADHD being my diagnosis. So, now I am at my wits end with him (he no longer lives with me), and my concern for how do I get over the hill and come down without crashing. It's more than I can handle at times and I'm shutting down more than I should and living from crisis to crisis. I want to continue my education but there is this fear of failure... can't seem to get things right. Can you direct me towards testing and medications..? I'm swimming three times a week (two weeks consistent) and it helps relax my nerves...but I have trouble staying focus especially when I have a hot flash. HELP!
