You should read the information carefully about Depakote. Drugs.com had this to say: "Cases of life-threatening pancreatitis have been reported in both children and adults receiving valproate."
Yes, pancreatitis can be connected and you should talk with your psychiatrist about this as soon as you can. Do NOT stop taking your meds without a physician's advice.
