Thanks you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice or diagnose ADHD. Even if I was, it would still be impossible to diagnose ADHD based on the limited amount of information in your question.

ADHD is diagnosed through a careful evaluation by a medical professional. The main symptoms are inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. During an evaluation, your doctor will ask questions about these symptoms and whether you have experienced these symptoms during your childhood. You can take an online screening test for ADHD. Although not used for diagnostic purposes, you can get an idea of whether you should see a doctor.

I hope this helps

Ritain is a stimulant. It would not make you sleepy. In this case you were given it to countereffect the opiods to stay awake hopefully not for prolonged use- otherwise all it is doing is wakeing you up to realize how tired you are!

Opioids contrary to normal belief can rob U of Sleep, even though they make some people drowsy,  in the onset , not if taken on a regular basis.

  1. Ritalin is FOR ADHD - it wont give you it.

  2. Get sleep.

Trust me I've been there and do have ADHD
