Q: How do I locate local support groups?

I live in the Portland/Salem Oregon area. I have been trying to find some local support groups that I can visit with. My life is feeling out of control and I am starting to notice that it is getting more and more difficult to exist and it would be very helpful to find others like me that can understand. I am struggling trying to find a way to fit into my new career of real estate and feel successful at it. I thought maybe this type of career would be easier and fit me better but starting to wonder if there is anything that really does fit me at all. At this point in my life it has become very important for me to be able to talk to people that can truely understand, at home there is very little to no understanding about the challenges I face on a moment to moment basis....So in saying all that I guess I am just reaching out to say HELP, anyone close by that would like to visit and share??

The following organizations either offer support groups or have listings of support groups:

CHADD

ADDA

ADD Resources (based in the state of Washington)

I hope this helps. Please let me know how you make out
