Alexis   Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.   I know that a new diagnosis of ADHD can be confusing. Where do you start? What do you do first? Should you take medication? Do you need medication? Sometimes, even if the diagnosis is expected or not a big surprise, there are still a lot of questions about what to do.   I previously wrote an article "Ten Tips for People Newly Diagnosed with ADHD" that might help you out.   You might also want to read:   The First 48 Hours With ADHD Questions to Ask Your Doctor Before Beginning Medication Knowledge is Power for Adults with ADHD   There is a lot of information on this site about living with ADHD. Are there some specific problems you are having? What made you look into ADHD? Let me know and I can find some additional information that is specific to your needs.   Eileen
