Q: How do I know if my child has AD/HD?

I have 4 kids and clearly my youngest is different...I think. He is very hyper and he goes non stop. He never listens and never sits down. I try to buy diff things that he may like to sit and play with but that doesn't work either. I alsmost hate to even take him anywhere because it stresses me so much. He is 4...what is going on?

He doesn't like cartoons or anything at all and he often cries and screams a lot. And he has a temper that is out of this world. No matter what I do nothing seems to get his attention for even a sec. He would rather tear things up than play with them. And sitting down to watch a movie is just out of the question. Could he have AD/HD?

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to provide you with a diagnosis or medical advice. If you have concerns about your child, you should contact your family doctor or pediatrician. He or she would be better able to perform an evaluation and determine if your child may have ADHD.
