Hi Grizzly,

It's impossible to know if your son has ADHD from your description; the only way to know for certain is by having him evaluated by a medical or mental health professional who is very experienced in evaluating for ADHD. You can start by contacting his physician to see if he has names local to you, or you can call the closest teaching hospital and ask for the psychology or psychiatry department.

There are online directories of ADHD professionals as well, at www.addconsults.com , www.add.org , and www.chadd.org.

Also, contact the closest CHADD chapter (www.chadd.org) and talk to the coordinator. He/she would have names of local clinicians for you.

Hope this helps!

Terry
