Q: My daughter now 5 is suffering from short term memory and can't recognize stuff recently said/told

My daughter is only 5 & suffering from short term memory. She does not Remember the colours and does not even remember the food she has eaten minutes ago when she is asked. She does not remember the alphabets. Due to this she is performing bad in studies.

You need to take her to a neurologist as soon as possible.  I would also recommend you take her to a pediatric speech therapist.  PST's are trained in cognitive therapy and they do a fantastic job in rehabilitating cognitive problems.  I saw one for 6 months after I got a head injury.

She needs to be seen by a doctor ASAP.
