Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.
I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you you medical advice.
However, some of the common side effects listed in Strattera's prescribing informaton include upset stomach, decreased appetite, nausea or vomiting, dizziness, tiredness, and mood swings.
As you can see, tiredness is listed as one of the side effects, so how you are feeling may well be the result of taking the medication. You should speak with your doctor fo find out if changing the dosage or changing the time you take the medication may help.

I took Strattera almost as soon as it was on the market. It made me extremely tired about mid-afternoon. My doctor gave me some samples of ProVigil to try to counteract the fatigue. Provigil was far too strong for me- I was jumpy with a fast heart rate; extremely uncomfortable, so I didn't take more than about 3 days' worth. As I understand it, Provigil works in the same are of the brain cocaine would stimulate. Strattera caused all kinds of problems with me, but so did many other ADHD drugs. For me, Vyvanse has been a God-send. We all have different biochemical makeups so drugs don't work the same on everyone, but it's really difficult trying to function when one is still trying to find the medication most helpful for one's condition, esp. since ADHD causes so many problems in the first place. I believe Vyvanse has about a 1 hour period of action. Hope you can work out your problems without taking too much more time.
