Q: About my son's ADHD problems?

My son is 15 years old. He was on Adderall XR 30mg and now on Vyvnase 60mg. My son is still have problems with sitting down in class, always want to get up and go places especially in school. He has a really angry problem and it seem to always get him in trouble. My son is a good person but it seem like i need some kind of different help cause this is really taking control of him. I have to come to school for him and especially just trying my hardest cause i think it's all my fault. Where did i go wrong that my son is this way? I just don't know where to turn right now. I'm feel like he need more in just his adhd medication cause he really need something that going to help him to sit down, stop touching things and people, doing his work without having to stop or doing other things, can hold his mouth without a outburst or even getting upset at people. I want him to be able to sit in school without getting in trouble and getting kick out of school. I was down this road in middle school and now he is in high school and it's the same thing all over. I have him to mental consuelor and he barely talk to the people about anything. I hated that my child is like this but i just need some advice about what i'm doing wrong and what i need to do? I love my son he is my world but he is putting more strees on me back and forth to school everyday for him and he getting suspended from school for things he shouldn't have done when he could think before he do things which he never should done. He never think before he do things knowing it would get him in trouble and listen to other telling him to do wrong stuff. I need help bad please please tell me what to do?Cry

this sounds like something no one knows what to do about, and athough your son may not show it he is most likely the most frusterrated one. you need to know that THIS IS NOT YOUR FUALT!!! the only one that can fix this is your son, and beleive me, he does want to. sit dow and have a talk with your son. DO NOT get angry with him at any cost! tell him about at least one problem and listen attentevly to his side of the story. brainstorm ways to help him. then talk to each of his docters and therepists. the problem may be that he is on the wrong meds or that he is'nt taking them

i hope this helps
