Q: Dry mouth persisting even after coming off Strattera?

I was on Strattera for about 6 weeks when I started to develop dry mouth. I had also started a new nutritional plan around that time, but don't see dry mouth as a known symptom of anything else that I am taking (like chia seeds, proteing powder, and coconut milk). I stopped taking Strattera 3 days ago, but the dry mouth is persisting. Is that normal? Could this still be a result of the Strattera not being completely out of my system? Has anyone had persistant side effects for a time period after coming off? If so, how long can I expect it to last?

Thank you for your question and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.

You may want to see if the dry mouth feels better in a few days. If it is not going away, you should contact your doctor and discuss with him or her.
