How long will a dosage of 30mg of Adderall stay in your bloodstream, and urine?
According to HomeDrugTestingKit, amphetamines are detectable in urine for up to 4 days. This is an average as everyone metabolizes medication at different rates. According to the prescribing packet insert for Adderall, it has a half-life of 12 hours for staying in your system. For more information about how it affects your bloodstream I suggest you refer to the packet insert with the medication, or ask your doctor.
It's important to review the precautions and side effects of Adderall before using. If misused, this medication could result in serious heart and blood pressure problems. I would also warn against drinking alcohol with this medication as it hinders your ability to tell when you are too tired or too intoxicated.

It's not so easy, and yes you can get in trouble for having Adderral in your system with a lawful perscription. I have this same issue as my job requires a DOT medical, but I have a perscription for Adderral. The DOT will positively crucify someone who discloses they have ADHD and are taking medications for it. For me this would be an immediate revocation of my medical certificate and loss of my job.
Don't rush to be so judgemental. Good people with legitimate conditions get a lot of grief from employers.
By the way, you can purchase home drug testing kits for about $25 at Walmart or any larger drug store. I would suggest purchasing at least two: One to test the day you stop taking Adderral, and one the day before your drug test. I think four days in the average outside time. Give it a solid week without taking the meds and you should be good. I reccemend the second test right before going to the formal test....this will keep your blood pressure down...:-)
Well unless you were taking it and not suppose to, you can not get in trouble for it showing up in drug tests. If you are prescribed to adderall you have nothing to worry about. You cant get in trouble for it. I also don't think they will see it unless they test for it. I would say a week but I'm not an expert. I say this because it's a pill you take everyday and well it doesnt work the day after. ya know.. So I would say a week the longest. But dont take my word. Google it :)
You're right, if you are taking it as your doctor prescribed, then legally you are safe. But unless you provide a doctor's note or pharmacy receipt when you're tested to verify your medical usage, all the lab knows is that you popped positive for amphetamine. You have to give them that info when you turn in your sample so that they can verify that you have a medical reason for taking it, confirm that the amount in your system is consistent with your dosage, and send a clean result to your employer or whoever.
I am asking because a young person passed out and is in ICU with a swollen
brain and a irregular heartbeat and breathing problems. And I was told that
this young person was taking adderall without needing it (takn for pleasure) I quess? And I do not know the mg. I am asking only because his friends say he was taking this drug but it did not show up when a drug test was done the night
he was brought to the hospital? Its been weeks and he still in ICU having big
problems. I want the person to get the right medical treatment if the adderall
story is true ut remember did not show up in his labs.
Adderall is bad stuff...
