Q: is the vyvanse the exact same thing as focalin?

Both Vyvanse and Focalin are stimulant medications used to treat ADHD. However, they have different active ingredients. The active ingredient in Vyvvanse is lisdexamfetamine and the active ingredient in Focalin is  dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride.
