I was diagnosis with a.d.h.d as a kid will i still have it im 20 now. when i was 16 i ended up in cleveland they sais i had bipolar and depresstion. is this un common for some one like me ive used medication for my a/d/h/d till i was 14. thats when all my trouble begain i started to cut myself and i was sad all the time. please give me some answers.

I hope that you have stopped cutting yourself. If not, please contact your doctor and request a referral to a psychologist, therapist or psychiatrist. Cutting yourself is not an answer. You need to receive some help for this.

 

It is not uncommon for someone to be diagnosed with both ADHD and bipolar disorder and frequently, symptoms of bipolar and depression are not recognized until the teen years.

 

I hope that you are still receiving treatment. You should have a psychiatrist that is familiar with treating individuals with more than one disorder.This would be the first step.
