Q: MY SON HAS BEEN ON ADDERALL XR EVERY SINCE HE WAS 5 NOW HE IS 14 WHY HE CAN GET SSI FOR HIS HEALTH

Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to this question.  ADHD does not automatically qualify a child for Social Security Disability Benefits. Whether or not a child is eligible would depend on the severity of symptoms.
