My 2 sons are hitting me and verbally abusive (ages 10,11) how do I take control and stop this?

In front of my children my ex-husband calls me crazy, my parents tell me I am not being a mom, they constantly yell at me for everything like a child. My ex husband reinforces this behavior by slapping them five or saying he wished he could have done it himself. Every time I set up rules or tell them to do something they call their dad who says I should do it. He even bought them i-pods to tune me out. My kids are now hitting me, swearing, disrespecting me. They are doing this in front of my 5 year old daughter. This has to stop. I can only take one step at a time. But, all they hear what will stop this?
