Hi Worried Mom,   It's always a concern when we get more medicine than we should. Adderall is amphetamine so that is a concern. If you are worried you should contact your doctor's office. Only you and your doctor know what is best for your son. If your son shows any of the signs below, get him to the doctor as quickly as possible:   Symptoms: Manifestations of acute overdosage with amphetamines include restlessness, tremor, hyperreflexia, rapid respiration, confusion, assaultiveness, hallucinations, panic states, hyperpyrexia, rhabdomyolysis. Fatigue and depression usually follow the central nervous system stimulation. Cardiovascular effects include: arrhythmias, hypertension or hypotension, circulatory collapse. Gastrointestinal symptoms include:nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps. Fatal poisoning is usually preceded by convulsions and coma.   You can read about Adderall here in the drugs database. Treatment for overdose is listed here.   Good luck and stay in touch. Let us know how you and your son are doing!Vicki M
