Q: my son is fifteen and i think he has got adhd, how do i find out?

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.
However, my son has ADHD (he is 25 now) and was diagnosed at the age of 13 with ADHD.
The first place to start would be with your family doctor. He or she may feel comfortable and have experience working with youth with ADHD or may refer you to a psychologist for an evaluation.
There are some questionnaires online that you can take based on symptoms you are seeing in your son. These questionnaires aren't meant to be used to diagnose ADHD but can be helpful to give you an idea of whether your son needs to see a doctor. Most also allow you to print out the results so you can take a copy with you to the doctor's office to help explain your son's behaviors.
