MOM IN NEED INDEED

Help! Dealing with a child with ADHD
Im A mom of a 4 yr , we adopted he through the fostercare system and she was drug affected, she has just been diagnosed with ADHD and is on her 4th type of medication, we are very frustrated with the out comes of the meds. Need some help and answers to Behavior and section 504
I had a meeting today at my child's school to try and get him under section 504. My son has excellent grades for now all A's and B's but he has had several incidences where he has been sent to the principals office and missed alot of recess because of disrupting class, not doing what he was told, things of that nature. New to all of this
Not only am I new to the forum but I am also new at having an ADHD child in my life. I am 35 years old and am a mother of a 10 year old daughter.
