Filling in The Rest

To Debbie Phelps

I have a son who is 11 with ADHD. He seems to have become very lazy...he knows his chores, has had the same ones for 4 years and yet if I am not there standing over him he does not do them. He knows the consequenses but yet he still chooses to get in trouble rather than do the task at hand. Have you went through this and how did you handle it?

ADHD or Bipolar?

I am worried about my daughter. She has been diagnosed with ADHD, but I've heard stories of many children being misdiagnosed with ADHD and later being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She acts out all the time and I'm overwhelmed. Should I get a second opinion?

dealing with problems getting ready for school

My son Ian is becoming even more uncooperative in the morning getting ready for school. He does not listen, he is very verbally abusive to me. I have spoke with his therapist about this but nothing has worked.
