A mom coping with sons Adhd

I am so glad that I finally can put a name to my sons behavior. Boy was it a challenge before the diagnose. My son is 11 and he really doesn't understands what's going on. when i was first diagnosed with adhd, i was relieved to know what was up with my crazy brain. the medication was helping, i felt great. but now it seems that i am not really progressing anymore, but maybe back sliding. my doctor was going to try to take me off of the effexor and just stick with straterra. but i dont know, i... Insurance bugs me

I'm in the midst of trying out different ADHD medications - I've tried enough of the Ritalin derivatives to know that they don't work for me. Will they cover me on Strattera? No. Not until I exhaust all the other cheaper options - even though we (my dr. and me) have proof they aren't working. I hate these "cost-savings"... Read more Chevron
