How many disorders can one person have

I am a 34 year old woman who has been dignosed with ADHD and PTSD. And take meds for both. I have been looking up both disorders on the web and now Iam really confused.I have took some online quick quizzes and it looks as if I might have Bipolar and Anxiety disorder of some sort. What medication works best?

My son has autism and ADHD. He is nonverba, so picking a good medication has been challenging. We simply do not know what he is feeling or experiencing. None of the stimulants have worked for him.
