FIANLLY Diagnosed

It took a long process but now i offically have adhd. I told my best friedn and she is laughed at me. So i probably won't tell anybody else then. Also me and my sister got in a fight the one i am living with and she also made fun of my adhd , i thought it was a good thing seeking help. but right now i fell like mabey i shouldn't have.... I trust everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. I wonder if anyone knows of a ADHD chat site for adults who share their experiences concerning ADHD because this one seems to be of little use if knowbody responds. I would like to find one more active. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Newly diagnosed

After years of being treated for depression without success, I was diagnosed with ADD. I started taking Vyvanse a week ago. The first couple of days, I noticed a difference in my mood and I felt more productive. I had some trouble sleeping but that seems to abated. I am not feeling anything now. No marked improvement.... Can never get myself together. Time management, organization, motivation, those things elude me

Talk too much, procrastinate, scattered here, there and everywhere on the map. And a 16 yo son with ADHD!! It is hard enough to parent myself, much less my son. And who invented those games?? And why did I ever submit to letting him have those games?? Arrgghh. I would have loved to have been involved in a web site like this before pc's were... Read more Chevron
