Adderall Weight Loss

An Illinois doctor says that the attention-deficit/hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD) medication Adderall has helped over 800 of his
adolescent patients lose weight. But experts say his decision to
treat children with the stimulant raises ethical questions. Some
say the side effects of Adderall make its off-label use dangerous.
Proponents say that many doctors prescribe ADHD drugs for weight
loss and that the drop in the diabetes risk outweighs possible side
effects.
