The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Vyvanse for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in adults. Vyvanse is a new amphetamine-based med. Its maker, Shire, intends to market Vyvanse as a replacement for Adderall XR.
