Girls who are hyperactive as children are more likely to develop heart problems as adults, a long-term study in Finland has found. The study involved health assessments of 708 subjects, first when they were children and again when they were adults. The researchers found that hyperactive girls were more likely than other children to develop clogged arteries, high blood pressure, and obesity as adults.
