Drugmaker seeks FDA approval for generic Ritalin

A company has filed an application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make a generic form of the attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder drug Ritalin LA. Novartis, which makes Ritalin, says it will block the generic formula because Ritalin is still under patent in the United States. Read more »
