Ritalin works for kids with developmental disorders

Ritalin improved the symptoms of hyperactivity and attention deficiency in children with pervasive developmental disorders, according to a study in the Archives of General Psychiatry. The benefits were fewer and side effects greater for these children than for those taking Ritalin for ADHD. Methylphenidate is the active ingredient in Ritalin and Concerta. Read more »
