Tests For Hyperactive Children

The American Academy of Pediatrics says that children taking
stimulants for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder do not need
a heart test before using the medications. This contradicts the
advice from the American Heart Association earlier this year that
kids have an electrocardiogram before taking stimulants. The

children to have unnecessary heart tests and could limit access to
