Concerta, a drug used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in children, also shows promise for adults, based on results of a new study. Researchers who studied 229 adults with ADHD for seven weeks concluded that daily doses of Concerta improved patients' ability to manage inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, compared to those taking a placebo.
