A new study by the maker of Vyvanse found that the medication controlled attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder symptoms in children 6 to 12 years old. In addition, the drug was found to have minor to moderate bad side effects. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the medication for treatment of ADHD and it will be released in June 2007.
