A new study suggests there may be a specific sleep disorder intrinsic to patients who have ADHD. Researchers found that kids with the ADHD slept an average of 33 minutes less per night than healthy children, and they had 16 minutes less REM sleep. Experts say that while sleep problems do not appear to cause ADHD, they may make symptoms worse.
