Well-rounded breakfast may help teens focus at school

Teenagers who eat a breakfast that includes fruit, grains, and
dairy products may do better in school than teens who don't eat a
variety of foods. Researchers tracked the eating habits and
behavior of 800 teenagers in a recent study. Kids who ate a variety
of food scored higher on the behavior assessment than kids who ate
fewer foods or skipped breakfast completely. Research has already
shown that students who eat breakfast pay more attention in class,
retain more information, and are more interested in learning.
