FDA warns consumers to stop using 3 Zicam products

(United Press International) UPDATED Wed Jun 17

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers to stop using 3 Zicam cold remedy products. Zicam-brand nasal gel, nasal swabs and nasal swabs "Kids Size" can cause a loss of the sense of smell (anosmia) that can be long-lasting or permanent. Officials said they have received more than 130 reports of anosmia associated with the use of the three Zicam products. Read full story >
