Drugmaker Tergacept's experimental ADHD medication is being moved into late-stage clinical trails, according to the company. The drug--known as AZD3480 or TC-1734--has already completed mid-stage trials for ADHD, as well as for Alzheimer's and Schizophrenia. The medication is part of a new class of drugs called neuronal nicotinic receptor therapeutics, which are aimed at treating central nervous system disorders.
