Q&A: Can supplements treat ADHD?

One reader asks psychiatrist Dr. Charles Raison whether there are any natural supplements that treat ADHD. The reader is concerned because her family has expressed disapproval over the use of stimulant medications on her 5-year-old son. According to Raison, feelings run very strong on both sides of the child medication issue. The doctor says that in his opinion, any drug that significantly improves a child's feelings, concentration, and behavior is worthwhile.
