Medicines top source of kids' poisonings

A new government study shows that the leading cause of accidental child poisoning is medicine related. More than 71,000 per year are found to have taken painkillers and other common medicine-cabinet items, and are taken to the emergency room, researchers say. That is double the rate of poisoning from cleaning products and other items, the study found.   Read full story >
