IVF Babies More Likely to Have ADHD

A new report has found that children conceived using in-vitro fertilization (IVF) were generally as healthy as children conceived naturally, but they do have a higher rate of ADHD, depression, and binge drinking. Researchers say the overall risk of having ADHD in the population is between 3 and 5 percent, while the risk for kids conceived by IVF is over 27 percent. But researchers point out that since IVF is a costly venture, it could be that children conceived using that method have parents who can afford to get them diagnosed early.
