Device May Diagnose ADHD More Efficiently

A lack of reliable tests to diagnose ADHD has contributed to its controversial nature, experts say, but a new device could change that. Makers of the Quotient diagnostic device say it can measure a child's movements down to the millimeter--a test that the device's makers say can help determine between the normal restlessness of children and the constant movement that can signal ADHD. Some skeptics say that the new device works much like other, abandoned diagnostic tools.
