Once all of your pots/pans/containers are put away, take out the containers without lids and decide whether they are worth keeping. If you already have enough, you might want to donate them to a local used shop. If you prefer, you can keep them and visit the local used shops to see if you can find lids to fit. If this is what you are going to do, use paper to write down the name of the container (Tupperware, Glad, etc) and the size of the container and bring the list with you shopping.
Day Five
Clean off the surfaces of your counter, table and refrigerator of clutter. With all of the re-organization, you might even have extra room in your cabinets or drawers. Use a basket to keep little odds and ends in and place it in the cabinet so it doesn’t clutter up your table and counters.
Take your box of food to the local food pantry and your containers to the used shop, if you chose to get rid of them.
By now your kitchen should be tidy and have space for you to move around and work more efficiently.
