I am a 56 year old female, mother of six.  Anaphylaxis shock caused by a Plum.  I swear, it was the only thing different that day from any other day.  This Plum was broken open by kids playing with the bag of the fruit.  I washed them but afraid maybe a pesticide or preservat...

Thank you for the welcome.  Any food allergies are still up in the air.  Ginger is one allergy, according to the skin testing.  Bloodwork is still pending for many things.  They have me doing the food diary.  Never noticed anything before with food, with exception of that Plum.   I have researched and still seeking answers but more aware all the time.  Feel like I am turning into a hypochrondriac!  Dust is certainly a battle in a house that was built in the 30's.  Our bedroom carpet was there when we moved in here 1990.   Checking into having someone clean duct work.  Wanted to get new furnace and AC unit this coming year.  Swamp coolers are what we use here in our dry climate but that can't be good when we also have the mold allergy.   I like a window open at night but would pay for that folly so our windows may never be opened again!

Just hoping with allergy shot therapy, I can function at least half better than what I am now.  I'd settle for that!   Reading that some people do very well and some do a little better and some not at all.  Positive thinking...I will do well!

I will check out the message site you told me about.   I really felt so very much adrift after my anaphylaxis episode.  Realizing I came so close to dying shakes me up a bit!

My one thought was I have too much to do yet!
