These were comments by users of Nasonex, above and beyond what the drug company lists for any side effects. Yes, I tried using it in the morning, but right now, the Singulair and Zyrtec seem to be working so well, why use one more drug if I don't have to?

Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 02:26 AMI'm up now because I can't fall back to sleep after waking up with a serious panic attack. My heart was racing so fast I thought I was having a heart attack. I also have a upper respiratory infection and I just got over one a few weeks ago. One of my nostrils are so stuffed up that it feels as if a wod of cotton is stuck in it. I've had a headache almost everyday and when I went to the Doctor to find out what the hell is going on with me, I was told the my blood pressure was elevated. I put two and two together and after doing some research on this drug, I've thrown it in the garbage. I Don't recommend this drug to anyone. Too many side effects.

Hi Massue,
I did some searching on the site and found this article about Nasonex, but it doesn't really list sleeplessness as a side efffect. Is it possible you should change the time of day you use nasonex to the morning so it has the full day to wear off the effects?
I have never used Nasonex, but I did use Rhinacort for a time. I did not have the sleeplessness issue, but those steroids tend to dry me out too much.
Good luck and let us know how you're doing!
