I have always loved garlic my whole life but as I get older I seem to have a growing intolerance to it. Often I wake in the middle of the night with what feels like garlic coming back up on me and this produces a very fowl smell that no amount of brushing my teeth or gum chewing will help. ...

    Hi Lynn,

From everything I have read, your symptoms do not seem to come up regarding garlic allergies. There is an entire conversation of postings about the subject located here. Also some really good tips on how to avoid Garlic and which foods contain garlic that you might not know about. Like worcheshire sauce. Who would have thought?

You should really consult a doctor about your symptoms to find out for sure, but there is a symptoms database located here, that will help you determine some questions you should ask when you see your doctor.

Thanks Vicki for your comments. I agree that my symptoms do not seem to fit the category of allergy so I will seek out my doctors thoughts on this. If you do hear of anything other than the usual symptoms, however, please let me know and I will do the same.

Just checking in to see how you are doing?? Any resolve on the symptoms?

Let us know what's going on. If you have found something  out that you haven't seen here, it would be great if you would post a share post. There might be someone else out there having a similar problem that could benefit from your experiences!
