My son begged and begged for a dog almost every day. I kept telling him no because my allergys were so bad. I went to a friends house a couple of weeks after my son had started begging me for a dog. As soon as I walked into her house her dog greeted me. I started to back out of the doorway when my friend was like no come on in she wont bite. I told her it was not the biting I was afraid of it was my allergies. She said well dont worry about your allergies because I have an air treatment system that helps keep down the pet dander and things that cause allergies. She told me that her husband suffered from bad allergies and was allergic to dogs as well. But since they got their Pionair Air Treatment System his allergies were finally under control. After visting in her home for several days I noticed my allergies improving as well. As soon as I got back home the first thing I did was order my own Pionair from www.pionair.net and then as soon as I got it I let my son pick out a dog from the local pet store. I do not leave home with out my Pionair and my allergies are almost always under control as long as I have my Pionair!

I am gald you were able to find a solution that allows your son to have a pet he's been wanting. How are things now that it's been a little while?
I was doing some reading on the site here, and found some interesting information about air cleaners. Sloane Miller (profile) is a resident expert here at Health Central and in December 2007, she did some research on air filters and what appears to work and what doesn't. Sloane suffers from allergies here and she had a unit installed in her home. Her article is located here. She does not mention the unit you talk about, but perhaps you can respond to Sloane and tell her of your experience with the Pionair Air Treatment System .
