    Hello AN,

Nothing can take the place of your doctor's advice and the best thing you can do is speak to your doctor about your symptoms. You might be having an adverse reaction between the cialis and something else you are taking. Only your doctor can know for sure.

I did some searching on the site, and while your symptoms are not typical of a drug interaction to Cialis, it might be something to look at. You can read a posting by Dr Justin Harmon about the side effects of Cialis (and others) here.

I hope this helps.  Stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!

    Hello Vicki M!

Thank you very much for your advice. I take nothing else beside Cialis(no medicine,no drink)  I have talk to 3 doctors and their knowledge about Cilis is limited to what we find on internett and they don't know any test finding out whether it is a severe allergic reaction to Cialisis and how to stop this severe side effect. This is what I wish to get help from some one who can advice me. Doctors adviced me to get contact with Eli Lilly co. since they have expert for Cialis. I did, but unfurtunitly have not reciveid any reply. The side effect of dizzy, toxcicity feeling and low blood pressure can continue until weaks after and in fact I know many people who (and myself) had to stop using it because of this life-threatening side effects.

    Thanks AN

    Hello AN,

If you are experiencing problems with lightheadedness, drop in blood pressure and dizziness then you must stop using the drug until your Doctor is able to find out why. It is possible that some people just can not take Cialis and you might be one of those people. Seems strange that the doctors would refer you to the drug company for information.

Do you take any over the counters suppliments, vitamins, etc? If you do, you could be having a reaction to those. When you speak to your doctor, you need to make sure he knows everything you are taking, even if you don't think it is really important.

    Hello Vicki M!

Thanks for your reply. I don't take any medicine or vitamin beside the Cialis. in fact when I take Cialis, a day before and until 7 days after I am very carefull even with food or fruits not to take somting new which I have not taken before thinking it might have somting which I am not aware and might not go with Cialis.

About Why the doctors refer me to Eli Lilly co. is Because I have talk to 4 doctors to do some allergi test for it,but deg don't know any existing test (I travel to London for this matter too) and I found out the doctors have very limit knowledge about this. But they have heared similar cases. They know no more than what is written in the intenett. All advice me to take a contact with  Eli Lilly co, because they belive Lilly should have the best knowledge of side effects and they now best how one can test it for allergi or do the research for it. I belive  Eli Lilly co. should be very happy to recive feedback from the users and try to help. This is a mutual help it also help Eli Lilly co to improve their products, but unfortunitly I did not recive any help in form of advice or invite me for any test which I am willing very much to pay expenses. So I hope some one can come with some advice how to test it or if any one have some experience how to help the side effects. I Hope other can share their experienc her and at the most I hope some one from Eli Lilly co could help.

    Hi An,

Although this is the allergy forum, I think the information you are going to be most interested in is on the ED/Prostate site. That is located here. You can do a search on Cialis allergy there and get the postings by other users who are experiencing problems.

Hope this points you in the right direction. Let us know how you are doing!

    Hi An,

Just so you know that you're not alone - me too, I have tried 5 times and even lowered the dose from 20mg to 10mg, I still get the same reaction, first, the hot and flushing to my face, then, all of a sudden the body feel extremely cold from inside out (drop of blood pressure) and I have come to this hypothesis ... we both are Asians, in same age range and I bet your face would turn red when consuming alcohol too right? This is due to low body enzyme which is very common with Asians and I'm thinking that this must have some connection with the Cialis side effects!

Perhaps changing the prescription that contains different ingredient might help!?
