I had a rast test done and found I have allergies to peanuts and corn. Then another doctor did a skin test and said it didn't show an allergy to corn and just a little for peanuts. But the rast showed a very high number for peanuts. So I'm wondering if one test is more reliable than the other.

Hi dej1327,
I was just reading a post that has some great information about allergy testing and what the test results mean. Kathleen McNaughton is one of the resident experts here and she answered a question similar to yours in a posting here. She also recommends looking at the allergy testing methods and results information at the link below. http://www.foodallergy.org/downloads/FoodAllergyTesting.pdf
Good luck and stay in touch, let us know how you're doing!
