When former Press Secretary to President Bush, Scott
McClellan, wrote about the administration's response to Hurricane Katrina, he
said, "We spent most of the first week in a state of denial." Now, as the third anniversary of Hurricanes

MY PINK EYE!!!
JERRY

Well, first of all let me introduce myself. My name is
Jerry and I'm from Mexico. I'm 18 years old and since 2 years ago I suffer from
the house dust mite allergy. It had to pass a year and a half for me and my
family to get to know what my disease was.
During those 18 months I visited 4 ophthalmologists, 2
homoeopathist and 1 dermatologist (because besides the pink eye symptom
your cheeks get red too) and nothing cured me till after hours I spent
reading on the web I figured it out I had an allergy. So I immediately went to
see an allergist, I had an initial treatment and then the allergy tests: I'm
allergic to house dust mite.
Now after 4 months of immunotherapy I had a great time
last month, some better days than others, sometimes I get desperate because my
eye is very red, right now that I’m typing I have symptoms but I’m decided to
defeat my allergy and I’m sure I won’t fail.
Thanks,
Jerry

Worse after Ike

There are so many more families in this situation now, after Hurricane Ike. And allergens such as dust mites, mold & mildew can just keep circulating over and over in someone's house. Here in SE Texas, it's way worse since Ike. A whole-house air cleaner is the way to go!
