About Me
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1953 and is the leading patient organization for people with asthma and allergies. AAFA's public policy program is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with asthma and allergic diseases through advocacy and by influencing legislative and regulatory policies on behalf of those with asthma and allergic disease. Such policies include, ensuring access to essential medical products and services for patients in all health care settings, and maximizing basic, clinical, preventive and health services research funding.
