IBS and allergic disorders

Thank you for your review and comments. I wonder if this cohort of patients would have less IBS symptoms with aggressive management of their allergy problems. I am curious whether patients responsive to allergy shots would have a fall off in IBS symptoms. I have a few patients with both disorders. But as you know, the quality of life is potentially so much better with good allergy managment, that many people, generally, feel better about themselves. Perhaps resting better and reduced physical stress (from being less sick from allergic problems) may indirectly help IBS in some patients. Of course I'm just speculating. Allergy shots is not indicated for Atopic Dermatitis but in my experience (as well as some of my colleagues) a subset of patients seem to respond. Perhaps a future study will take a look at this.
Thanks Again,
